L'Oreal Infallible 24h matte foundation- first impression and review! (Oily skin)

Today im just going to do a small review on the fairly new foundation from L'Oreal! The infallible 24 hour matte foundation. I thought I wouldn't like this foundation to begin with because nothing could beat my no7 beautifully matte. But I actually reall do like it, I think it might be an everyday foundation if it continues to perform this way.
So I should probably stop rambling and just get into the demo.

L'Oreal says:
"Introducing New Infallible 24H Matte Foundation by L'OrĂ©al Paris.
A matte result that lasts up to 24 hours.
Clinically proven; waterproof, steamproof.
All the comfort, none of the shine. Perfect coverage. No Cakey effect.
Easy to apply, enriched with perlite technology, and reduces the appearance of shine up to 24 hours."

I thought I should probably show you guys my bare skin before any makeup, just to show the coverage it gives.
So as you can see, I have a lot of acne scars, and some active breakouts. The other side of my face is near enough the same as this side too!

I applied the foundation with a beauty sponge from Claire's accessories, and blended it down my neck with the real techniques buffing brush

Excuse my horrendous brows but, this is the foundation alone with no powder or concealer or anything on:
As you can see there are still some blemishes and scars peaking through, but most redness and scars are covered. The finish is definitely matte. The foundation feels so nice and is so lightweight. And felt like I wasn't wearing anything to be honest.

So I went ahead and put the rest of my make up on, I was quite busy this day so I wanted to do quite a full face just to see how it would last. You can see the look here:(http://daisiesandsunsets.blogspot.co.uk/2015/11/make-up-of-day.html?m=1)
12pm

I took no blotting sheets or powder with me so the next few pictures are just the makeup and how it lasted. There were no touch ups or anything!

5pm- I kind of started to get a bit oily at this point, but that's normal for any foundation I wear. The foundation wasn't wearing off anywhere so that's a good sign! I have no eye makeup on at this point because I had cried it off due to some drama hahaha!

8pm- at this point I think the foundation had a really good wear time. My no7 beautifully matte would normally be quite oily at this point too. The foundation came off a bit after blowing my nose, but it didn't come of much when I touched my face. Around my nose was kind of sweated off- but this happens with all foundation I use. As you can see it's super oily around my t-zone and cheeks.

Final verdict:
I really like this foundation. It was only £7.99 and I think it's so so good for how inexpensive it is. In my opinion it lasted really long, Longer than most foundations on my super oily skin. If you're looking for a new foundation and have oily skin or even any kind of skin, I'm sure you'll love this foundation too! I think it will definitely become my go to foundation!

Until next time,

Morning routine (school edition)

I love watching these kind of YouTube videos and reading blogs so I thought I should take a shot and make my own! This is a typical school day and obviously doesn't happen every single day, but most days.

So when my alarm deafens me in the morning i obviously turn it off because it's the worst part of my day and I'm sure you'd all agree! I lie in bed just thinking about how much I hate school and scrolling through my social media for 5-15 minutes depending on how many times I hit snooze. I then attempt to roll out of bed and usually hurt myself or walk into a few doors in the process of taking myself to the bathroom.
When I get to the bathroom I just do my business.(tmi) I shower every night so I have more time to sleep in the mornings which is always an advantage for people who aren't morning people!
I brush my teeth (and braces-sucks to be me) with Colgate maximum protection toothpaste. It's a toothpaste there's not much to say about it. I like it and it cleans my teeth I guess that's what you want in a toothpaste. I then carry out my skincare  routine. I wash my face with the clean and clear advantage foam wash. I love this so much, it smells really good, but it doesn't make my skin break out more because of the fragrance with is good. It definitely cleans my skin and helps control my acne. After I just exfoliate my face, I usually change up my exfoliator, but currently I'm using witch naturally clear exfoliating wash. This really helps my skin clear up and really takes the dirt and bacteria out of my pores and makes my skin so soft. I put on a light layer of moisturiser before I apply my makeup. I just do the routine I already posted every day. (http://daisiesandsunsets.blogspot.co.uk/2015/10/school-makeup-routine.html?m=1) I then just go with one of my go to hair styles! (Post will also be coming soon) I then just head downstairs into the kitchen and grab something to eat. It's usually just a cereal bar or something really quick because I usually don't have time. Then I just grab my bag and leave for school unfortunately!

So this post actually took a really long time, but I really enjoyed it. I think I'm gonna do some more routines in future posts! Let me know what you guys think and what kind of posts you would like to see!:)
Until next time.

School makeup routine

I thought I'd just show you guys what I use in my school make-up routine. I love all these products so much. all products are drug store, because i mean im a teenager, I don't have lot of money. i bought all these products with my own money and this isn't sponsored whatsoever:)
RT core collection £21.99
every day i use the buffing brush and contour brush from this set. i love real technique brushes so much just because theyre such great quality for how cheap they are. i also got this set half price during summer so got this for only £10.99. there are always offers on so you can get it for wayyy cheaper.

collection 2000 lasting perfection concealer: £4.19
This is my holy grail concealer! its so thick and creamy, so its great for blemishes. it has a really fully coverage and doesn't wear off during the day. i usually use this on blemishes and spots, but if i have really dark circles under my eyes i would use it under my eyes too.

i love this concealer for under my eyes, when i don't have really dark circles, it doesnt have too much coverage and the colour range is quite bad in the boots where i live. but i still love the product.

Maybelline master sculpt: £6.99
i dont use this everyday, but when i have extra time and want to add some definition i love to contour or just highlight a little, i love this product, its so cheap and the pigment in it is AH-mazing! the highlighter just makes you look as if you have a really healthy glow which i love.

rimmel wake me up mascara: £7.99
this mascara. wow. the smell is so refreshing, every time i lift it i smell it first. it really lengthens my tiny lashes and adds volume! definitely my holy grail mascara lately!

rimmel stay matte pressed powder £3.99
lemme just say this powder is woooow. i've used it for like 5 years now and let me tell you. it works! i have super oily skin and this helps my makeup saty without a prmer or setting spray ALL day! if you haven't tried this yet, go buy it now!!

vaseline: £1.30
i mean, vaseline pretty straightforward right?

collection 2000 brow kit: £3.99
this stuff is so good! at least one colour is usually useless, but for the price why would you care? it lasts all day. it also come with a little brush to apply the powder and also a clear brow gel to set the product. if you're on a budget definitely get this!

until next time.

what i've been loving: October

October's almost over so I'd thought I'd share some of my favourites for this month because I've been loving a few things this month and I guess it would be kind to share them! :)

Tv shows and movies:

The vampire diaries
I finally started this series and I am absolutely loving it. I can never really explain tv shows or movies very well so I'll just skip and you can take my word and watch it, if you're late to the bandwagon too!

Harry Potter movies
It's actually really hard to believe that I had never watched any of the Harry Potter films ever. I used to get so much hate from my friends because of it obviously sarcasm but I would never know what they were talking about. I decided that I would watch the first one one day and ended up watching all eight of them. I can definitely see the hype and it's definitely worth the almost whole day watching them.

Halloweentown
Yep never had watched this before either oops.  Oh my goodness. This was so amazing and really got me into the Halloween spirit. I watched it the first day of October and have watched it another like 3 times since, it would have been many more if it weren't for school and concerts and all that jazz. If you're still not in the Halloween mood i would definitely go and watch!

Drinks/food:
This is honestly my favorite homemade drink this month, it taste just like Starbucks hot chocolate with a pump of peppermint. It tastes like Christmas and it just makes me happy and helps me relax. If I'm making the regular hot chocolate, I add some cinnamon to it to give it a nice sweet taste.

Options hot chocolate mint/ regular

Beauty:

Soap and glory flake away

This was given to me a present and I am so thankful. Although it looks so nasty it actually smells so good. I use it once a week or more if I have a special event and it just removes all the dead skin and helps your legs stay much more smoother and if you self tan, it stays on longer and goes on much better! It's about £10 for a tub so it's not too pricey!

Naked 3 pallette by urban decay

I bought this a while back but I think the colours in it are perfect for fall. I love the rose kind of colours in it, especially limit! I've been using the pallette everyday I wear makeup and I've gotten so many compliments on my eyes!

Music:

falling in love with autumn

I absolutely love autumn, it's my favourite time of the year. I love being able to pull my woolly jumpers and boots out and the fact the jumpers are still so comfy and soft after years is amazing. I love the changing scenery, the leaves changing from vibrant green to rusty orange and hazelnut brown to fall on the ground and strolling through whilst the crunch of the leaves are so satisfying. Darkness falls earlier each day and the Christmas spirit creeps in slowly but surely. cold drinks are left behind in the summer and hot chocolate, lattes and teas are brought back. (because who wants brain freeze in the colder seasons?) i love dark lips and neutral eyes. gloves hats and scarves. (i live in the UK it's freezing in autumn) seeing your breath in the air. Halloween. pumpkins. candy apples. pumpkin spice candles (and of course latte).i love autumn walks, it feels as if you have an umbrella of golds, reds, oranges browns over your head, everywhere you walk- well at least if there's trees. i just love the atmosphere and obviously the scenery. the photo opportunities there is overwhelms me. the crisp wind with the delightful smell of pumpkin pie gushing through the air. i love autumn.
